Nice crisp sound. My previous Weatherking had too many overtones. This one has just the right amount. I am very pleased with the sound.

I’m using this on a Tama SLP Walnut 6.5x14, it’s perfect, exactly what I was looking for.

Love this drum head. Currently use it on my 5x14 black swamp maple snare drum and i don't think there is a better fit. It needs some tuning love but if you get the right sound you'll turn heads with this head (bad pun sorry)

very articulate head, clean tone, bright with short sustain, frosted head with great texture and response, feels beefy but is not a flat dead sound. I use to play evens genera 14 on my batter side snare, and this feels like an upgrade from that head. It cuts through with out having to whale away and chop wood . . .
