Je suis aux anges parce que je n'ai jamais osé acheter ces encres hors de prix.Et bien finalement je suis prête à en commander et à en payer le prix parce que niveau qualité je ne sais pas si l'on peut trouver mieux !En plus, le packaging est superbe et luxueux, ce qui permet d'en faire un magnifique cadeau à tout artiste.Attention, le pinceau n'est pas prévu dedans ; d'ailleurs il n'est pas prévu d'après l'annonce, mais j'en connais qui s'y sont trompés.Si vous êtes un artiste de la calligraphie japonaise, n'hésitez surtout pas !

This inkstone set is beautifully made, each ink stick is crafted and packaged with care. The inks it produces are various depending on what you wish to do with depth of colour. The process is fairly simple, while you rub the ink stick on the glass stone with a droplet of water and let it run into the pool. If you take care of the ink sticks by drying and storing in the washi paper, they will last a long time. The paulownia box is also beautifully made and ideal for storage. The overall item would make a beautiful gift.

Oh my gosh I am so in love with this set I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. The ink is high quality in stick form. The ink is easily mixed with a dot of water you just move the stick over it until you have the desired consistency. Since the colors are prime you can mix them into other colors as well like green, brown, purple etc, for your writing pleasure. I am going to get a black ink stick so I can do some writing.I have been experimenting with feather writing using an actual feather and this ink is the perfect consistency to dray into the feather once cut properly. It's really cool to try and do things the way our ancestors did you get a totally different look and feel when you're writing or what have you.The set come with the three colors of ink, the case, and the glass mixing block. The ink goes on really nicely and the consistency is as per how concentrated is with the water to ink ratio. If you want darker you just rub more ink if you like it more dilute you rub the block less it's very easy.Be aware have a piece of paper towel or something while you learn how to mix properly. I made the mistake of not doing that and stained my table as the ink is so pigmented. I now have a rubber mat and paper towel to keep my table free of being dyed.Absolutely love this set so I'm giving it 5 stars!!

Absolutely beautiful item. It's almost nice enough to buy for display. But most will want to use. A bit like watercolours but a little more complex to use.

Un magnifique coffret pour faire de la calligraphie japonaise.Matériel de très grande qualité. Peinture encre réalisée à la main.On sent vraiment toute la technique.kque qui se trouve derrière ce matériel et le côté solennel et épuré du coffret le retranscrit bien.Je trouve vraiment magnifique.Prix justifié
