I bought these to use in our training sessions at work where we repeatedly mark up procedures consisting of folders of laminated A4 pages in landscape format and then clean off at the end of the training session. We currently deploy old fashioned chinagraph markers for this use and they are difficult to clean off and leave an unsightly residue and also break up and leave messy marks on the desks. Coupled with cleaning off whiteboards at the end of every training session (up to five per day, four days per week), this is a hassle for the instructors and we go through a lot of microfibre cloths which are effectively unwashable and only fit for the bin at the end of a week. I wanted to try something different which causes less hassle for the instructors. These markers are ideal and last a long time. I was particularly pleased with the "8 hour cap off" claim from Staedtler because children and adults tend to leave the caps off pens when distracted for hours. Great stuff for home education or work group sessions.

Really good for my Year 2 Phonics as the normal pens make their writing too bulky on the board. They were able to form letters much easier with a pen closer to pencil size. Potentially could be stronger as children tend to push down on pens and therefore they only lasted a week or so despite having ink in them still, just the tip frayed. Otherwise great.
